Feedback 2011

Campsite – Don’t separate cars and caravans
Greater use of the football field for caravans will overcome this concern

Water bowser by Elsan disposal point
Efforts are being made to locate a water bowser that we can loan

Noticeboard on campsite
There will be a noticeboard at the entrance to the campsite

Ceilidh on festival site
The cost of hiring another marquee and flooring makes this impractical

Ceilidhs included in the price
This was the case in 2011 but an over zealous steward charged some people, who had weekend tickets. Apologies

Dogs not on leads
The campsite information sheets state that dogs should be under control at all times. The campsite area is regularly used by local dog walkers and we have no control over their actions

Real ale at ceilidh and sessions
The Miners Welfare and local pubs decide what type of ales to sell. We ensure that the bar on the Festival site does sell real ales

More food outlets
Wider range of food
Not enough food

We were let down by the on–site café and steps have been taken to engage the services of more caterers, who will provide a wider range of food

Better site map
Large site maps will be sited on the campsite and adjacent to the Festival office

Singarounds/sessions
These will be clearly programmed

Second stage too near dancing displays
The dancing will take place well away from the second stage

More litter bins
More litter bins will be provided

Stalls
We aim to attract a wider range of stalls but can only engage those stalls who apply. Encourage other stall holders to apply.

Move mixing desk
This will happen

Sign, outside marquee, to say who is performing
This will happen

Craft workshops
We will endeavour to arrange craft workshops
